Happy enough with that 23 tbh the Lee Barron exclusion aside.

Need to keep Sharks moving around the park as much as possible & not get drawn into a slug fest up front.

Haley makes perfect sense as does RS to cover centre & 10.

Hope our line out gets parity at minimum.

Ahern needs a massive showing & a big year for him nxt season as well with 6 spot open if that's where is goin from no on

Really good start from Munster, Casey is playing super stuff these days.

    Very quiet on here?

If you told me Micheal Milne would be comfortably dealing with Vincent Koch 6 months ago I may have had you sectioned

Scrum going well, Crowley kicking well bar that bizarre miss off the tee. Nanks is making great hay in midfield.

Our maul d is going very well all things considered. Casey, on this form, is going start pushing JGP for Ireland tbh. Scrappy enough, and our scrum is an issue on their put in as expected, but we’re putting ourselves very much in this game. Kilgallen and Nash going well and we’re doing a really good job of targeting their FB.

Neither Irish 10 can kick the jaysus ball with any effect.

That wasn't a post to bash Crowley. He's made a lot of errors with his kicking today just like Prendergast earlier.

It's a problem that both our front line 10's have

Sharks doing their best to match Leinster for stupid decision making today

How does the TJ miss Scannell being bundled out in a headlock

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,166 ✭✭✭Eoinbmw

Some defensive shift put in by Munster that half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,385 ✭✭✭leakyboots

    Nanks has been totemic

Apart from that one attack around the 30th minute mark, Munster have completely nullified the Sharks heavy carrying game. A combination of smart defence and bad handling has ruined any Sharks attack.

Good first half, just came under a bit of pressure there in the last 10, Casey and Crowley need to kick that ball into the stands when exiting from inside the 22.

Need to get back to playing kick/territory in the first 30. But the scrum on our own ball is going well, lineout too, Munster are in with a great chance now. They are very disjointed.

Gonna need some fitness to keep this up, defense immense so far.

That last 10 minutes, to not concede feels huge. Kilgallen having a serious game.

Beirne had been quiet but comes up with a huge play. He must have amongst the highest rugby IQ’s out there, always seems to be that fraction ahead of everyone else.

It’s a pity Jack missed that penalty, to make it a 2 score game. Sharks will come back into this but we’re doing better than I expected here.

Kilgallen has been excellent btw. We’ve a player in him.

Casey has improved so many areas of his game but his feints are now also top drawer. He had one to get Etzebeth to bite on a box kick, and another of the back of scrum to manipulate their back field before a kick. He’s turning into such a huge player for us.

Balls, terrible timing in terms of momentum to concede a try.

Abrahams wasn't a 15 over the last month. Same today. Poor selection by coaches.

Jack continuing on his form for the last while unfortunately. Too many mistakes.

Thought Casey had a case there, what’s the law on reefing a player by the collar?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 586 ✭✭✭CptMonkey

Shark player there standing in the munster line and they drive straight at him. How is that not given as penalty to munster

Huge response after 20 mins under the cosh!

That's more like it. Haley with the big catch, Casey kept the play zipping.
