I'm thinking of doing an apprenticeship or going to NCMI and study Electrotechnology. I'm not eligible for SUSI grants so I'm stuck for money, however I've read that work placements are paid so that could offset the costs. Does anyone know anything about NCMI and its degrees? Also can you stack apprenticeships if they are related eg IFS associate to IFS specialist?

    Do you mean NMCI?

I would think doing an engineering degree is going to be very different from doing an apprenticeship.

Do you want to work on boats?
