Went off at 11am with clear skies, got caught in an unmerciful hail shower, so sore ears and still no trout. Roll on next weekend.

My fix got anyway, two beautiful trout today, one at least 3/4 lb. Theu seem to be very active this week. Caught and released on the Camouge river.

Water level on the river here had been very high, leaving fishing troublesome but still a few trout caught each outing. Last Thursday the level was closer to the norm and at least you could get to the bank. Had 11 nice trout in 2.5 hours. They were striking nymphs' very hard.
