In an email, which one is correct? I've been using the former signature at work but notice others use the latter and don't capitalise the r in regards.. which is grammatically correct? I'm so used to writing 'Kind Regards' that not capitalising the r looks wrong!

Why do you think it is correct to capitalize the second word in your sentence?

Never sounded right to me correctly spelled or otherwise.

One of my previous bosses did that in an email about learning support for a college.

Be like half the emails I get these days that are just signed off with a name. I get no regards!

But I say Kind regards. I don't think you should capitalise the 2nd letter

Regards sounds curt and Kind regards sound a bit silly to me, so I mostly sign off Thank you, someone, you never met signing Warmest regards or kindest regards is worst sounds overfamiliar.

    Why capitalise the r?

It's incorrect to capitalise regards as it's not a proper noun. It'd Be Like Randomly Capitalising Any Other Word In A Sentence.

    Always capitalise both,

    Kind Regards,

    Gravelly.

just don't use the phrase "...will revert back to..."

it doesn't mean what you think it means

Who makes up the rules about how to sign yourself in an email, unless its a legal document does it matter and long as you are neither rude or over-familiar.

Ping me an email and I'll revert by close of play.

At the end of the day we should take a deep dive into the deliverables and ensure the value add picks the low-hanging fruit and dovetails with the paradigm shift.
