Few I like tomorrow, belami des pictons has been off the track a while, I put him up here few weeks back but he was withdrawn late due to ground after trainer walked the track. Assuming race goes ahead and soft conditions, expect him to go well. He’s the right favorite general 4/1 though I see lads 6/1. This is an easier race than what he withdrew from. His form behind waiting patiently suggests his current mark could be very lienient, if he’s ready and gets clear round, I reckon he’ll take all the beating. At Leopardstown, I’m torn between commander of the fleet and dunvegan, both monster animals. Slight preference for dunvegan 4/1, looks a cracking race. In the bumper envoi Allen will be very hard to beat, but the one I like at a price is abracadabra, think his debut race will work out well in time, 16/1 looks a bit of value against the odds on fav. May all your selections run straight and true GL

It certainly is a veritable feast of racing, and the creme of the crop runs in the last in the 8:05 at Kempton. Rail Dancer held up last time out at Wolverhampton and ran a reasonable race all things being said. Sent back over a favoured track and down to a handicap rating of 59, it should be bang in contention for this one. All the early juice gone, but 7/1 looks ok to me.

Folsom Blue back to Sandown again ran well in same race last year , off same mark effectively 2lbs out of handicap should plug on for a place 10/1.

Paddy Power has cursed one of these three...

"Apples Jade(13:25 Leopardstown) Buveur Dair(13:50 Sandown) & Min(15:10 Leopardstown) All To Win" 10/3 from 11/4.

    I think Apples....

In the opener at Leopardstown, Magnium looks a real strapping horse to keep an eye on going forward. While I am not at all surprised to see it stepped up in trip from previous runs over 2m 4f, I do suspect it runs over fences next season and that is where we will really see it shine. But for tomorrows over hurdles at the extended trip, I think it should out run odds of 40/1.

Can't help but also have a bet in the 2:00 at Leopardstown. A wide open handicap hurdle where a former Cheltenham Champion Hurdle winner runs against he kids. While I think it's certainly within the realm of possibility that Jezki can run a big race in defeat, I am willing to take a chance on another former Cheltenham winner in Ivanovich Gorbatov, who won the triumph, but has been poor since. Joseph rode it when it was with his dad, and it was probably one of the first horses he ever trained while acting as assistant to his father. It's still in training, and Geraghty rode it last time out, so the connections obviously see something.. At a career low rating and huge odds of 50/1, I think it has a squeak.

Weird having the Leopardstown bumper in the middle of the day, but needs must. Favourite Envoi Allen well backed and deserved favourite, but the current price of 8/13 seems far too short for me. A 4l winner over Port Stanley last time out, I think the 16/1 available on Abacadabras (a 2.5l winner over Port Stanley on debut) is relative value.

I agree on Apples Jade. She is no open goal against the likes of Melon whose price is short enough for some reason. She jumps to the right which won't help going left handed and the trip is sharp also. I can't see what beats Buveur Dair. Min is beatable also, but if the prices are genuine he looks hot enough.

Be amazed if Apples Jade is turned over today. I think she runs these into the ground and will make my 6/1 on winning the Champion Hurdle come March look collossal.

Look at the last time out form of double legend at 5/1
Winner went on to win again impressively in higher grade next time.

    Apples jade

    Wissahickon
    Envoi Allen
    Min

    Accum surely worth 10 @ 18/1

Everybody seems to be tipping le richbourg and not mentioning anything else in the race, the Gary Moore horse knocknanuss will most likely get an easy lead and I expect him to go clear early on and put pressure on everyone’s jumping.
This will be the fastest test for le richebourg and I am not so sure he will appreciate it.

That'll suit Riche down to the ground imo

    Dunvegan 12.50 9/2
    Minds eye 16.20 13/2

My two bets so far for today goodluck all

It could but I don’t see him as a speed horse, knocknanuss last run was over 2 and a half miles and he was 2nd to master dino giving him 5 pounds, master Dino was subsequently made fav for the JLT on the back of it.
It wasn’t as easy as it sounded as knocknanuss looked to be going the better rounding the home turn and master Dino stamina kicked in.
Knocknanuss has actually never won at that trip.
I can definetly see it le richebourg creeping into it off the pace but IMO I think with a clean round knocknanuss won’t be caught.

    Mug 4-fold for me

    Le richebourg
    Min
    Apples jade
    Envoi Allen

    15/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,288 ✭✭✭Fanny Wank

Come To Me was very well backed at Naas last time out but ran poorly (market was filthy enough that day)

Could be a big price in what looks a weak Grade 1 unless Commander Of Fleet improves for the step up in trip. Relegate hasn't looked a star over hurdles and I'm not convinced last year's bumper crop were all that hot

    1.45 Kachy @ evens
On all known form should win

    1.25 apples jade @ evens
    Same as above

    1.15 dolos @ 7/2
Most in the field have bigger questions to answer, weak race IMO

    3.45 knocknanuss @ 10/3
Hopefully Will run as fast as he can from an early stage if jamie Moore lets him and I think he can boss this field if he does and hopefully le richebourg gets stuck in traffic haha.

    7.15 ihabela fact @ 7/4
Going with Hugh Taylor on this, was unfortunate to bump into a progressive horse last time

    8.15 double legend @ 4/1
Was beaten by the horse that went on to beat ihabela fact next time, big chance.

That was some performance. Surely champion hurdle. Would be a waste otherwise I think.

With Samcro's hurdling campaign gone to **** you'd have to imagine they'll send her to the CH. She's still a young enough horse, could go the Stayers next year.

The olearys are some shower of muppets, they have a horse good enough to challenge for a champion hurdle and they are on about going in a micky mouse Mares hurdle, ****ing smug muppets.

It's whatever crowd of morons decided to make that mares race a grade 1 should be blamed for her missing it. Should be no more than a grade 2
