Popped into Carphone Warehouse earlier, guy was trying to sell me the new 64gb Huawei P Smart for €200. Said its better than any Chinese phone out there..... True or false?

Of course he is going to say that. It's his job to sell what he has access to. They won't give anything towards Chinese brands as it's less margin for them be it on the phone cost or the overall bill package.

Curious why people need waterproof phones? Unless your planning on taking pics in the sea or texting in the shower? Seems pretty useless.

I know he's gonna say that. But I don't know a whole pile about phones so that's why I'm asking here as posters here know their stuff.
So, basically, if the specs on mi a2 lite are better than the Huawei p smart then that's what I'll go for.

Use this it's very handy comparing phones. Compare things that are important to you say the camera etc

Thanks. Had a quick look. Both seem very similar. Don't know anything about speed /processors..... Huawei is bigger, seems to have slightly better camera. Xiaomi has better battery. Would that be correct?

Ah I know. Not huge difference in spec but for me I'd go with the a2. Pure Android over Huawei skin on Android. That's just me.

I lost my old phone the other day, and decided to totally blow the budget and spent 700e on a new mate 20 Pro. Ticks most the boxes nicely for me, but I'll admit the likes of the note 7 etc a hell of a lot better value ha.

Android One is fantastic.. pure Android no rubbish on the phone. I bought on eglobalcentral postage took ages. Honorbuy is much quicker at delivery 2-4 days.

    Love my a2 lite

Its €158.39 on honorbuy and €169.99 on eglobalcentral so think I'll go with honorbuy. Do they come with a 3 pin USB charger or should I buy one myself? On honorbuy, looks like its a 2 pin charger
