    Deep race. Plenty of chances.

Just a fancy. Think reverting back to hurdles and the trip will make him hard to beat

West Approach is the value at 14/1. Only beaten 2 lengths by tomorrows fav last time out and is 6lbs better off.

Elegant Escape looks a savage 11/4 shot.

Lay lay lay. Has as much chance of winning as you have of getting a ride on Saturday night.

    Chelt 12.40 - adjali @ 13/8
Has to concede 5 pounds to all but should be much too good for this lot

    Uttox 1.40 - betameche @ 5/2
Just touched off last time and the winner has run well since under a penalty.

    Doncaster 2.05 - bailiroco @ 9/2
Very impressive last time, all he does is stay and the long straight will suit.

    Chelt 2.25 - frodon @ 9/4
Should be able to do things at his own pace over this longer trip And no other front runner to bother him, elegant escape might get done for toe in a tactical race even over this trip.

    Chelt 3.00 - Brewin’Upastorm @ 9/4
Best form and the one to beat, this test will suit much better than last time.

    Uttox 3.25 - black tulip @ 10/3
Ran very well from the front last time at Cheltenham, only losing to a Gordon Elliott horse and was miles clear of the rest.

    @CheltenhamRaces 1:50

Casse Tete is interesting here at a big price. He ran well at the festival last year when not staying 3 miles and has a decent record of winning when down to a reasonable mark. He has jumped poorly this year but if that can be sorted, he could well go close here.
1 Point EW 20/1 5 places Hills 4 places Paddy

    @CheltenhamRaces 3:25
I’m going to forgive Sam Spinner his last 2 runs and give him a chance here at a price that’s worth the gamble. The top of the market looks weak apart from Black Ops. 14/1 is too big and if he does win 33/1 is massive in the Stayers Hurdle.
    2 Points win 14/1 hill/betfair
    ½ Point win 33/1 NRNB Stayers 365

My money is on Fakir DOudairies in the 12:40 at Cheltenham.

I also have small e/w's on Key Player 15:40 Lingfield, and on Federici 15:15 Doncaster.

    3:00 Chelt
No matter where you look the form of Jarvey's Plate is top class. He was beaten just by a grade 1 winner, horses he has beaten have won since. He should be fairly short here and 3/1 seems great value.
    2 Points win 3/1 paddy/sky/vc/

He’s giving 5 pounds away to horses that have the potential to be grade 1 winners only Brewin’Upastorm had a chance in grade 1 so far and there was no pace in that race, not saying he can’t, just feel it’s unlikely he wins giving the 5 pounds away.

True , I just make him about 7/4 . So 3/1 is value . Far from a certainty

The Cleeve Hurdle looks like a great race. There is oodles of value. Paddy Power are paying 5 places !!!! I am having couple of points each way on Agrapart, 22/1. I reckon a few of these are not fully wound up yet with half an eye on the festival, so there will be value.

Fairy 12.30-All the Chimneys should be tough to beat, 5/2 seems are fair price

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,645 ✭✭✭Luap

De Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore team up on 3 favourites at Fairyhouse.

Will do a treble for interest pays 12/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,933 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

Battle Of Marathon looks a huge price at 25/1 in a four horse race off a basement mark with another 5 off thanks to the claim.

Lot of money for Joseph in the 12.40 Cheltenham

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

Poiseden has seen tons of cash at Fairyhouse. Daraya star also. I’ve both backed

Going with Paisley Park in the uk, was really taken with his last run, he’s the new comer into this league so hopefully keeps progressing on route to the stayers in March. Ratings suggests he’s bang there

Think Frodon is an awfully poor bet given how the Nicholls yard is doy.

    Story!
Had a yankee on for today but the church gate is a non runner.
What does my bet turn into now - a trixie with higher stake per bet?

JOB has got a decent 1 there.
    Some jumper for a juvenile.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,107 ✭✭✭HarshOstrich

I’d say he has a couple better juveniles as well, couldn’t see him sending his best over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,376 ✭✭✭Shemale

He is in the market for the Triumph, surely he should go in the Supreme.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,376 ✭✭✭Shemale

The Cleeve looks like it could be a stonking race, I really like Black Ops and Aux Ptits Soins and Midnight Shadow looked to put themselves in the mix for the Stayers in their last outings.

Have seem damn all racing the last couple of year, never heard of Paisley Park

Some training performance to get a horse of that age performing to such a level.

Have to back Activial here after Kildisart winning well earlier.

Would they ever **** up, frodon has absolutely no chance in the gold Cup, usual wankathon when a woman jockey wins a race

    Ryanair would be more suitable

More chance than bristol de mai would ever of had, can’t see it winning myself.

Bristol de mai has no chance but is a far better horse

Frodon is a classy animal. Best handicap performance of the season and then does that. Gets very little credit and will stay the Gold Cup no ****ing bother.

He can stay all he wants but will be doing it very fudging slowly

While the excuse of the tacky ground today making Frodon tired will be the rationale for the Gold Cup, he had it easy up front, he won't get that in a Gold Cup and the pace will be much quicker.

Huge fan of the horse but it should be Ryanair all day to let him do himself justice.

Around Cheltenham frodon is far superior to Bristol de mai
A pure bridle horse that finds nothing when pushed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,625 ✭✭✭RivetingRoger

Frodon is the new Cue Card
Not that I think the horse is in the same league as Cue Card, its not, but its a media horse (as much for Bryony as anything mind)
Alice Plunkett and Luke Harvey will spend the next month puking out superlatives about them, the peoples horse ya da ya da ya da

Enough to turn you off any horse

Not a hope in Hong Kong Frodon wins a GC or a Ryanair

Fine horse, wont win anything in March

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,625 ✭✭✭RivetingRoger

    Agueroo wins again
    2 wins on the trot
one to keep an eye on for a few weeks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,107 ✭✭✭HarshOstrich

Couldn’t call who would of won that as I don’t think Brewin’Upastorm would of weakened.

I heard that it was a bit cruel :)

In fairness donkey is probably harsh, he’s just well past his best, veterans races for him at most these days
