Noel Edmonds will be joining 'The Ray D'Arcy Show' line-up for Saturday night.

The former 'Deal or No Deal' presenter will be making his first chat show appearance since leaving the 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' jungle, when he chats to Ray this weekend.

Edmonds will be talking about his experiences in the jungle and looking back at his career, which spans over 50 years.

Also joining Ray this week are the five leaders for this year's 'Operation Transformation'.

Nicole Ryan will also talk about a drug and alcohol awareness programme for secondary schools that she is launching in memory of her late brother Alex.

There will be musical entertainment from Mick Flannery.

'The Ray D'Arcy Show' airs on Saturdays on RTÉ One at 9.50pm.

Interesting, if I was to place a bet I'd say a female host will get a new show in it's place taking Saturday nights up to circa de summer.

They should give the slot back to Brendan O'Connor. But then that would be admitting they made a mistake giving it to Fr Ray in the first place, so i think we can be sure it wont happen

Yeah, cringeworthy and creepy seeing Ray bending in and asking such dumb questions.

Some think Down Syndrome and then discriminate. No different than anyone else, just wants to be treated with dignity as anyone else would be.

They get some mileage out of Dancing With The Stars and Operation Transformation, they must account for 10% of RTE prime time output each week.

Certain dancers most certainly do. On every TV programme going.

This one has more confidence and more ability to talk and have the banter than so many with out Downs Syndrome, reverses some of my preconceptions I have to say.

Uncomfortable? No. I don't know why that was said or felt. More so uplifting and life affirming.

Should they be giving away crisps on the same night that the Operation Transformation people are on?

The batteries went in my keyboard during the Dancing with the stars promo..so I couldn't type.

Then the prize is a holiday down the road, but the €2k would be nice, but the prize question should have been about Kilkenny, what has Cork got to do with a holiday in Kilkenny?
Advertising for Cork people to enter and win again, they had a bit of drought, not winning last night :D

Operation Transformation is obviously a failure as it is on every year so does that mean the other leaders down through the years failed?

I was addressed by a stranger today as 'big man', not sure if it was on account of my height or width, I kind of took offence to it to be honest, perhaps time for me to sign up.

I watched Vice tonight, about that b******d Dick Cheney. He got another person's heart transplanted in to his body to keep him alive. I mean how p1ssed off would you be... you're already p1ssed off that you're dead yourself, and then find out that your heart is used to keep that b*****d alive. It's actually are reason to have an opt out policy.

God forbid that I fall off the roof adjusting the aerial for Dancing With The Stars only to find out that my heart has been used to bring Amanda Brunker back to life.
