Is Cooney on the bench or out injured?

    Hope this isn't Coetzee's knee

Bests lineout throwing has been abysmal.

That's dreadful support work from Ulster after a great McCloskey break.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,876 ✭✭✭✭bilston

Why did McCloskey go for the clear out?!!!

Crash ball Ludik is not a thing...

    Not down Tuilangis channel anyway...

  • Administrators Posts: 54,417 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    Coetzee off?

    That’s that then.

  • Ah McCloskey, did so well with ball in hand, but then ran over the ruck!

Absolutely awful. Not 1 person in to protect the ball

Ulster have been dreadful so far. Leicester being dreadful as well has kept them in the game

Looking at where the ice was on Coetzee it maybe looks more hamstring than knee?

    Looked like hamstring.

I’d sub Shanahan and Burns for Cooney and Lowry at half time.

Leicester have a lot of very good players so not surprised to see this score at home. Never easy place to go and Ulster are not exactly Munster or Leinster particularly up front.

Men against boys again sadly! Losing Coetzee wont help the cause either!

Has there been a turn over penalty yet?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,220 ✭✭✭cameramonkey

Its up to Ulster now, Leicester are not good making lots of mistakes but still beating a very poor Ulster. If Ulster come out with some intent and stop making handling errors and set piece errors they should be able to win easily.

    Surely Tommua was offside?

It hasn't been men against boys at all.

    It's been s**** against slightly less s****

  • Completely unsold on Burns. Think McPhillips is probably just as good as him now, and has higher potential too.

Ulster need to be first on the scoreboard in second half. Settle a bit, and try get around, not through Tuilagi.

so marginal that I'd let it go.

Not buying that at all. Ulster got stung by a similarly marginal call against Connacht earlier in the season. I was told then that if you're in front you're in front!

They should have at least looked at it.

The problem is McPhillips isn't better.

I fear this could end up like last year at Wasps.

Our saving grace being that Exeter aren't likely to get a BP win in Thomond

Ulster were lucky there because Jonny May quite clearly touched the ball there

  • this is a comedy of errors

40 minutes of rugby against a team like Leicester with European knock outs on the line and no points at all is an awful look.

Hopfully Ulster can flip the script this half.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,417 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Dan Cole straight in over the ball off his feet and it ends up in a turnover.
