Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That constant whistle blowing (non ref) is bloody annoying.
It's the sequel to "screaming lady" from last week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,326 ✭✭✭el Fenomeno

Suh could have tried to tip that pass but looked more concerned with making contact with Brees.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,963 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Saints need to get a stop here. Any score for the Rams and they could be level or leading after the first drive of the second half.

    I thought that as well.
All the tech available, surely they can isolated that mic and turn it off?

That might be their only chance, to rattle Bress a bit, by fair or foul...

The rams D are doing there part but Jared goff and the rams haven't looked great going forward.

Talk about telegraphing a play, I think everyone and their dogs knew that CJ Anderson was getting the ball on the last first down.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Seemed like a clear leading with the helmet by apple....Rams getting slightly hosed by the refs to my mind.

Someone needs to find the person with that whistle and take it away.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,687 ✭✭✭✭jack presley

I hadn't noticed the whistle till it was pointed out here. Now I can't stop hearing it.

That was funny....that Hekker punt saw 5 saints drop from the LOS!

Yeah after the first down they got off it, its clear the saints aren't taking any chances.

And what about the obvious helmet on Josh Hill? No call on that either.

Imagine sitting near this guy all game

If you want to enjoy more of him at half time

I'd need to see it again, but thought he was more of a runner and bent down as tacklers converged.

    Superb drive from the Rams.

    What a throw from Goff!

Clear hold by Gurley on Apple earlier in the drive mind. Not sure how the refs missed it.

Playoff football now. Rams have done great to steady the ship

No facemask call on the Cooks catch either.

The commentary is crap but the audio quality seems fine to me.

Rams get the ball to start second half too.

Refs are letting a lot go on both sides. There is nothing one-sided about the refereeing.

Agreed they are letting a lot go, but rams have 4 penalties to the saints 0.

    Penalties are very one-sided, 4-0

The rams must be delighted to be only three points down at half time given how the game looked to be going.

I remember a false start, an illegal block and an offsides, what was the other one?
Two of those are procedural anyways.

Absolutely.....they were definitely rocked early on, and were a play or two away from a possible blowout. Love to see both teams duke it out in the second half.

Just listening to peter king talking about the afc championship, unfortunately i won't get to stay to watch live, but i really do fancy the Pats to put something together to stifle the Chiefs.

there was a hold on a punt (as per usual!)

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

10 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter and Kamara has 10 receptions! Not sure I like taking Brees out of the game in vital situations.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

That was a cracking drive from the saints. Trying to force the Rams defense to change up covering the receivers by just giving the ball to the two backs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,963 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

That's a huge TD. 10 point lead, very hard to pull back the Saints now I think.

It really ramps up the pressure on the Rams O to produce something. Not to mention the Saints looked superb on that drive.

Have to hand it to the Saints fans. It's incredibly loud again this week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Gah, what a f*ck up, and the broadcast team barely make anything of it. Should've been a Ram touchdown, now it's in the balance.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Sure they were going to hand off to Anderson there. Perfect play call.

Another great drive. Big response from the rams.

Great drive by the Rams!! Both offences starting to find some success

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,458 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

This game is far from over... I think the Saints will still have too much though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,963 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Huge drive now for Brees and the Saints. I think they really need another TD here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,963 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Gotta say I didn't like Hill being brought in on that first down. Saints were on a good drive, no need for a trick play there. Should just leave it to Brees when it's running smoothly. Big 3rd and 7 now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Big no call there and it was an easy one to call to.

Any theories here for why Gurley is getting so little game time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    That should have been picked.

I think he's just been benched. Looks healthy. Amazing story if that is the case. Anderson has been serviceable, but he's no Gurley.

Is there maybe a confidence issue or something? They are saying he is physically fine so that leaves the mental side of things.

Just injured and nowhere near 100% fit, IMO.
