    Hello,

    As the little says I need have been keen to lose five pounds for a while now.
    Every time I try, I seem to put on a pound or two!!

    I am a healthy eater. For treats I have dark chocolate and those treats from Happy Pear.

    At the moment my main form of exercise is vinyasa yoga. I used to run outdoors but find it hard to get out in winter.
    I’m not really a gym person for cardio.
    Recently I’ve been finding it hard to get motivated for any Type of cardio.

    Just wondering if there are any tips for getting motivated and maintaining a steady healthy eating and exercise regime instead of my usual start stop.

    Any advice much appreciated

    If you want to lose weight, you simply need to eat less. Doesn't matter how "healthy" you eat, you won't lose anything if you are not consistently in a calorie deficit.
    Exercise is obviously important but, as above, will count for little if you're not eating at a deficit.


    If you really want to get a handle on it calculate your TDEE, download myfitnesspal and start tracking everything you eat (and drink apart from water). This will mean weighing out portion sizes and quantities at home.
