Charged for modem not being returned, even though it was collected by DPD

    Hi, 

    I received a €60 charge for a modem not being returned after cancelling my Eir bundle. I arranged for DPD to collect the modem around 5 days before the deadline, which they said they would do. The day of collection, I wasn't in the office but had the box ready for them. They didn't collect it and didn't make any attempt to contact me (even though they had my number). I had to then rearrange for them to collect it, the morning of the deadline, which they did.

    I talked to your support team online, but they weren't able to help and told me to call the support line and talk to them. I'm met with an estimated wait time of 30+ minutes, which i am not willing to wait for.

    Please arrange for someone to remove the €60 charge, or arrange a call back to my phone. I am not paying a €60 fee for the delivery company not collecting the modem when they were supposed to.
