    Equal rights for slow learner's.

It's hard to predict what they will look for next really, their demands are getting increasingly insane.

Polygamy is an interesting one. I really don't care what relationships people are in as long as everyone consents and is happy. The only real problem is the legal minefield.

Obviously the other click bait issues are ridiculous. But you know that.

Boards isn't for all viewpoints. It's actually for a very narrow range of viewpoints.

God forbid consenting adults agree to live in open relationships.

Polygamy will be in within our lifetimes, I suspect.

Shortly after that, at least one large company will have a board of directors all married to each other for tax purposes.

Ok well to humour you, animals can't give consent.

Our laws dictate that children can't either. I also would point out that pedos are absolutely abhorred by almost everyone in society. They aren't even allowed to mix with normal criminals. They're lower than murderers. Anyone pushing for that is committing social suicide.

What do you mean by polygamy? I know swinging/wife swapping is a thing and isn't illegal as it's between consenting adults so, in a sense, we have that already. Are you talking about legal recognition of polygamous marriage or something?

To be honest with you I think polygamy may be a possibility.
Bestiality and Pedophilia would be unlikely. We may possibly see more places who'd claim to treat pedophilia.
Sex in generally could be redefined tough. I've seen some friends who'd be consider liberal and they all say that no woman would engage in that type of activity and it should be banned.

Polygamy suits a specific grouping that is protected under the social justice cartel. So yes, its coming.

Laws change and if you can’t see the slow sexualisation of children then you are blind, these people play the long game. Polygamy could be a problem for tax reasons but also when children are born into those situations.
As for animals, there will be a push for people to marry their pets because they genuinely love them, not necessarily sexual.

You're missing my point. Pedophiles and child abusers are almost universally despised, even in indecent society. They are the lowest of the low. They need to be housed in separate prisons for this reason.

Wouldn't it be great if someone could came up with a way of treating them? I don't think there's been great success so far - similar to pray away the gay or whatever.

That's one law I don't see ever changing despite the creeping attempts to normalise this behaviour.

During the marriage equality referendum, when all their other woeful arguments failed, people on the No side would often suggest that allowing people of the same sex to marry would result in a slippery slope towards marrying your pet hamster.

Time will tell if they were correct. Self declaration in Transgenderism happened almost immediately after, then allowing kids to take hormones after that. Unfortunately maybe they were right.

Robot-relations. Another decade or two, and perhaps they'll have autobots with the self-learning emotional-inteligence of humans.

Then there's 'trans-humanism' wherby folks are 'hacked' with chips, sensors, memory and robot bits, directly affecting physiology, chemistry and neural processing.
Ultimately ah-hock stem cell tweaking and DNA manipulation, including halting/reversing the ageing process to the prime/optimal age of about 25 earth years.

Isn't that the plot of a sci-fi movie...?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

The big issue I see coming like a steam train is assisted suicide/Dignitas style end of life centres.
Don't be surprised if there`s a referendum on this by the mid 2020s.

Allowing someone who is of sound mind the right to die with dignity and avoid prolonged pain/suffering? Can't say I see the issue.

It was really inflammatory though and it didn't seem like you were genuinely interested in opinions - you even said "We all know this is coming". No we don't. It's how you say it. Maybe some freaks will look for the right to abuse kids (think that's happening already) but legalisation of it? It's considered worse than murder in some contexts.

Wouldn't be a fan of polygamy (as there is potential for a power imbalance) but at least it's adults. Has interest been expressed in it much here though?

Really don't see anything indicating bestiality becoming a thing.

Perhaps, like the Martian sci-fi movie? Of which the main superpowers are expecting to complete a similar task by 2040.

The true rate and expansion of ai-robotics-automation and hacking of the human nervous system would likely shock folks if they could go visit 2030/40.

Biohacking already exists in an early state, but full humaoid-like robotic assistants are probably just a few years away.

The push to normalise peadophilia has already begun. Have a look at any Reddit discussion that talks about child abuse. It's organised. Twitter has recently been flooded with tons of "NOMAP" accounts where people are openly discussing the age of the children they are attracted to etc. Some also identify as "zoophiles". Some are calling for it to be included under the LGBT umbrella. At the same time we have a push for children to be seen as able to consent to life changing medical treatment at a young age and some people even advocate for taking away parental consent altogether. It's not hard to join the dots. As has been shown in the past, these groups will piggyback on to any movement they think will further their aims under the radar.

I don't know what the next "equality rights" push will be. But what exactly are the "equality rights" we currently have that are problematic.

I've no issue with a reasonable discussion on a matter like this. Its important though people used approiate language when discussing this and don't over generalise.

Leo needs another feel good piece of low hanging fruit which cannot fail to pass a referendum. He needs it for his image. Possible something about separating the education system from the church.
