Installing an app not available in your country

    I'm trying to install some Irish apps (notably My Vodafone and Sky Sports Mobile TV) on my dual SIM foreign phone. I'm getting a message on Google Play Store that these apps are not available in my country.

    I found a workaround online to use a VPN to change location (although I'm in Ireland at the moment anyway) and then clear cache and force stop Google Play Store then install from the Play Store browser link - but it isn't working.

    Is there any workaround to get these apps without permanently changing my Google account back to Ireland (which can only be changed back again after a year)?

    You could download the apk's. I've done this for apps not available on the Irish play store. I google whatever the app is followed by apk. Does the job.

    Side load them from alternate source. Aptoide appstore as an example, obviously you are probably at more risk of malware but I use it, and haven't had any issues. Yet.

    Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.
