loss of lumbar lordosis

    Hi all
I had a consultation with Eanna Falvey a couple months ago and he basically said that my back pain and pain down my leg is caused by L5/S1 disk touching the S1 nerve root. The root cause is my lumbar spine curve is too straight and I need to get more curve to re-balance the disks. All that makes sense to me and when he explained the my MRI and compared it to a "good" lumbar curve it was very obvious. He sent a letter to my physio detailing the problem but the physio seemed to not agree saying the curve would be less anyway because you lay flat for the MRI etc.. he said i need to build up my core. I spent two months doing his exercises , dead bugs, bridging, planks etc. but i still have pain in my leg and getting worse. Has anyone else had same experience with loss of lumbar lordosis and who in Cork would be a good person to work with in basically getting my curve back!!

there's 2 ways about going about finding out who is right and who is wrong, both of them involve seeing someone else.
is the physio a physio or a sports therapist? In my experience they are two very different things and seeing a sports therapist works out better for me, especially if they have experience in the training you are doing.

I'd be looking for a second opinion on the physio side, it would be the cheaper option than an other MRI and consultant
