Statement from nfluk in regards to tickets for the international games with regard to Thomas cook. I'd advise everyone who had tickets booked through Thomas cook to read the whole statement as there are deadlines to reply back to them and links that can be clicked.

I see people selling tickets on Facebook now seem to have the physical tickets so we should probably expect them some day this week.

I bought 4 last week for Bucs/Panthers game and physical tickets arrived yesterday morning.

Got my Raiders and Bears tickets yesterday.

If its anyone's first time heading over, the Empire or Hippodrome Casino are good venues to watch the 1am game in. Most pubs near the stadium will show redzone after the 6pm games too.

    Good session on the Sunday.

    No didn't get any email

I received an email the night before asking for confirmation of address and time with an option to change both. Maybe give them a shout to double check your email address?

Still no sign of mine. Not overly worried at the moment as a lot on season ticket holders on twitter don't seem to have received them. I'll be fairly annoyed though if I end up having to pick them up at a box office and I will be expecting a refund on the postage if it is the case.

Have had no correspondence since the initial email confirming purchase either.

    Still no tickets.

GBP 3.75 postage, for what exactly?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,203 ✭✭✭Jofspring

I don't get my post until 12 so if not here by then it looks like I'll have to make contact with Ticketmaster. Pain in the arse.

Absolutley bricking it that Hurricane will cause cancellations on Friday ahead of the match.

Anyone else have to collect their tickets at stadium due to incompetence of Ticketmaster. They sent the tickets out but hadn't paid enough postage so they were returned to them. Now be too late to get them by post. Absolutely ridiculous

    My tickets arrived today.

Ctdkalf, you should demand your postage back!

Really, did they contact you to say that?

I received the following e-mail today

    "Dear Season Ticket Holder,

We are writing with an update on ticket dispatch.

We are in our final day of dispatching the first two games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the latest we expect these to arrive is Wednesday 2nd October.

If you are a UK based customer please contact us from Thursday 3rd October if you have not received your tickets and we will arrange for them to be resent over email, allowing you to print at your own convenience prior to travelling to the stadium.

If you are travelling from overseas and have not received your tickets please contact us and we will arrange the best option for you."

My buddy got that box office collection email today ,even though he got an email last week to say that his tickets had been dispatched !
Ticketmaster are an absolute disgrace ,they always leave it to the last minute to post the tickets .

They even have the neck to be still selling hard copy tickets for the Bears match .

I'm going to tell my buddy to ring up tomorrow and demand e-tickets .
There could be huge queues on Sunday .

Would they give e tickets. I don't think they will. They are an absolute disgrace honestly. They didn't even make contact. I rang them as my tickets had been delivered to Manchester and signed for there.

The email I posted above says they will allow you print at home for your convenience. Would have been a lot more convenient to have the physical tickets weeks ago.

    Good evening all,

Long time lurker first time poster in this section.

So my lovely wife bought me tickets to the texans v jags game in November.

Hopefully things will go ok brexit wise.....

We are travelling over on Saturday morning, will spend the day sightseeing etc.

Anybody have any tips on what to do on the day of the match?

How early should we go to the stadium?

We have to collect the tickets there from what I understand.

Is there other places to go?

Unfortunately we have to head home that night so there wont be much hanging around afterwards.

Anything we should be aware of on matchday?

Have been to a college game in the Aviva a few years back, really enjoyed it but hoping this will be a step up from that.

So thanks in advance... heres hoping its a good game.

Strange how I got my tickets literally a few days later. Abeit, it was just the one ticket. This had been poorly organised. 2 of my mates haven't gotten their tickets yet and have to go to the flipping ticket office at WHL on Sunday. We already have to rush from the Emirates to WHL, now this nonsense.

Anyone who's been before able to tell me about the bag policy? If I travel over with a backpack I won't be able to bring it in at all? What's the best plan for this? Cheers

Don't know what you could do with the bag but you definitely won't be allowed in with it. They seem to be really strict. If you don't have one of those see through bags that they allow then the bag can only be a small woman's clutch bag.

Thought as much, pity because I'm just doing a day trip so not as if I can leave it in a hotel or anything.

I'm leaving my bags in a baggage storage place in Liverpool St. Station. Opposite direction to where I'm travelling in the evening after the match but it'll have to do.

Great little bar down by Wembley. The arches. Always find this to be a good spot. Lovely Indian food and good drink. Far better pint than the wetherspoons most people go to. Get to stadium bout hour b4 game if possible. Queue can be quite long closer to match and same inside for drink. Enjoy the game. I'm sure you'll be back.

The stadium was class. Plenty of space and food and drinks offerings, though I was told they rebranded the bars so they could charge more (£4.50 became £6.50 for a pint. That's still cheaper than Soldier Field!) The atmosphere in the first half was tepid given the game but it came to life in the second. The halftime show was an unexpected bonus with the lights, lasers and fireworks. There was loads of TVs in the concourse for RedZone after and the late kickoff and night-time sky really helped the atmosphere in general. Definite thumbs up for me.

Travelling from the city centre there is a decent walk from Seven Sisters station. For those going next Sunday I'd advise aiming to being at Seven Sisters an hour before kickoff. There are buses from the station but they don't make much progress.
