    Back end of the year is certainly making up for the dry summer and below average rainfall! Wonder will the yearly total average itself out to within normal levels

    There hasn't really been any noticeable rain this morning, despite the radar showing a quite significant amount for the last couple of hours, and the wind seems to have died down now as well. The temperature's currently 6.0C.

    In addition to a Davis (Vantage Pro 2) weather station, I have Netatmo thermo and rain gauge. I believe wind thingy will be arriving for Christmas. :)

    Which radar source are you using? I find that the Met Eireann one is the only really accurate one for the Dublin area; and also for my area on the Meath/Kildare border. Net weather radar and other similar ones are not as accurate as they were in the past. I read here on boards recently that only met Eireann gets to use the data from Dublin airport. Perhaps the British Met service also have access, not sure about that.
