Put a receipt or a piece of paper into the coupon part of the self service till and it will allow you proceed to checkout where you ask someone on the tills to approve the alcohol.

According to the T&C you can stack discounts if you're spending the cumulative neccessary amount. For example if you have 10 off a spend of 50 and 5 off a spend of 25 you can use them together for 15 off 75.

Do Tesco still accept competitors vouchers like Dunnes etc ?

yes, self service only as cashiers at tills could get in trouble for accepting copies.

    Presumably can't be used online?

This wouldn't be a copy anyway. It's from the online version so in theory EVERY version is a copy!

Interested in knowing this too. I assume the self checkout ones like you scan the code yourself as well? Never used a voucher using the self checkout machines.

Ahhh. So the machine waits until you get rid of the voucher basically after you scan it? Mad 😂

Can I use this 10 off 50 with a 16 off 80 tesco voucher? I assume I'd then need to spend 130 to get 26 off?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,420 ✭✭✭✭rob316

Wouldn't scan for me off the phone in Cork but your man was sound and still knocked off the tenner.

There's a €10 off €45 voucher in todays Sunday World. It's odd, if you look on Broadsheet.ie for the preview of the paper it has €50 off at Iceland advertised on the front but when you see the actual paper it has €10 off €50 spend in Tesco but it's actually only a €45 spend required when you see the voucher, particularly confusing with a hangover so I've put the piece you need to know in bold :D

Anyone have any experience with trying to use it for deliveries?

They take stuff back if you're not happy and you'll get the money a few days later, would love if it was the same with the voucher

Was there on the weekend and they had €10.00 vouchers at the till. Not sure how much you had to spend, I think it was €50.00. We used it there and then and was given a few more. They are at home so I cant check them at the moment.

It would be very useful if someone post the pdf/image of the voucher (€10 off on €45 spend). I hope the voucher has the same bar code (not unique) which can be used my multiple users.
