Has anyone joined or is a member of any of these gyms? I seen the pictures on their Facebook page and it’s a massive gym. And for €26.99 a month it’s cheap enough. Thinking of moving from FBT in coolock as I need a change of gym

They are are just another chain of popular corporate gyms, same as any other. Cheap prices bright colors and fancy equipment to pack in the customer base. If you are motivated enough to go to that type of gym and you get results, it's as recommendable as any other I guess.

I go to a small gym based in the same industrial estate (left hand side of the Lidl building) and it's fantastic. Small group classes, very personalised, excellent atmosphere and full of lovely friendly people from ages 17 to late 50's. The only down side is it only opens for 4-5 hourly classes a day. So if you are restricted by time it wouldn't be suitable. They are expanding into the vacant building next door early next year and will be increasing the number of daily classes when that is done.

I've gone to gyms for years (Ben Dunne in Northwood, Westwood in Clontarf) and always fooled myself into thinking I was exercising. I'd never change back to any of them for this gym in in now.

What is it you are trying to get away from in FBT?
Any time I've been in it it seems empty(I shop in bruteforce a fair bit).
I train up MAMF and again its empty during the day but busy from 6-9

I don’t want to get away from anything I just need a change and energie fitness is closer to me anyway so it’s a no brainer really!!
