Eye envy you. Luved de LEGO, adored it, but was given a meagre amount as a deprived chisler of de 60s. However I made great use of de 59 buts or whatever it was and created all sorts from de pyramids in Egypt to a Georgian house in Doobalin town.

You should have to have 20 mass visits a year to be allowed use the church for your wedding or baptism and not just use the place like a glorified drive thru.

Giving cash to homeless people on the street is idiotic.

Very small amounts for literally cups of coffee would be ok, but not accepted by the receivers who want serious drug or drink money.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,259 ✭✭✭donkeykong5

Hes an ok guy. He helps people who are down on their luck. Pity more priests arnt like him. !

What they need is to do is recognize that we've realized that it's all a bunch of nonsense.

I'm sorry, I'm not an angry type of atheist but it's true. Don't let it keep you awake at night that less people are going to church.

Fr Darcy looking very very well, better than before when he first got the prostate cancer. Obviously the treatment has worked very well, an inspiration for others to seek help.

At least one spouse or parent having a proven record of giving church Dues for at least a year or two before hand, pricing at least s basic commitment to the parish.

I remember as a kid one of the more vocal priests in the parish saying that he would need to be offering Green Shield Stamps GP en outage people to confession. That dates me!!! :)

Panti’s getting more seriously masculine by physique, trying desperately and hopelessly to show a feminine side.
