Christmas Party Outfit

I'm looking for a cheap and easy way to make what I've got suitable for a Christmas party do.

I've got a slim fit white shirt with black buttons and dark jeans.

I'm looking for a top and show/belt combo. Any suggestions?!

Should have given more details since the OP was very vague.

I'm 5ft 10, slim and mid 20s guy.

Hoping for something cheaper enough. A nice shoe/boot belt combo and jumper of some sort.

I don't think lads can go wrong with a good pair of boots. It's hard to tell how those jeans will look with boots as they're styled with runners, but you can always roll up a little cuff to show more boot and give a little style.

Penney's have the odd gem when it comes to men's footwear, definitely have a look.

Match your belt colour to your shoes, but I wouldn't be tucking the shirt in (if wearing on its own with no jumper)

On top, again Penney's, and Dunnes, are good for nice jumpers. With navy jeans, a dark maroon colour would be nice. Stay away from black or navy. A well-fitted jumper over a shirt can look really well, clean and crisp!

Thanks for the advice.

I ended up getting dark brown chelsea boots. I see most people pair them with skinny jeans then end before the boot begins - I was going to wear the jeans resting over the boot. I'm guessing that's grand but probably not 'stylish'


Are dark brown shoes, the jeans, white shirt and maroon top similar to this OK?
