It's your card company that's giving the cashback, not Currys.
True but it just seemed weird for the CC company to be sending emails regarding transactions.
Marketing, security, terms and conditions emails I can understand.

well this is a balls. I dont seem to have this offer active on my AIB VISA rewards at all and i placed an online order with Currys.ie on Friday :(
You mean it's not showing up or you haven't ticked a box or something?

It's still listed under my AIB VISA rewards account.
However, there is no box to tick or anything. It just says to redeem offer on currys website?
As long as you have your credit card attached to your visa rewards account, things should all work automatically.

Same as meself at first but if you scroll down and let the page load up completely, Currys should be still there at the very bottom. :D

"Why did my friend receive an offer and I did not?
Offers are matched to your own shopping preferences and purchase history so that you get offers that are relevant to you. This means the offers you get may vary from the ones your friends or family receive."

What card did you use to buy the items?
I only registered my debit card, so I had to use that same card to get the deal.

Are you certain? I had a look on what cashback they offer and am not seeing curries among them.

    Shows up on mine

Mine is the same. Registered months ago, but not offered currys deal, which is the first I would have redeemed.

Thing is on BOI it clearly states it is “available to all registered cards.”

Ordered friday from currys using BOI rewards still no confirmation of cashback anyone get it yet?

  • Registered Users Posts: 607 ✭✭✭bkrangle

Not showing up on my BOI offers anyway

Weird given that I buy quite a lot of electronics but other retailers that i'd never buy are listed in my offers

Looking back at a previous transaction, it was the day after the transaction cleared from my account (4 days in total)

I really don't see what's so weird about it to be honest. You agree to it when you sign up to the reward scheme and no confidential information is breached. How else do you expect them to tell you?

Thing is on BOI it clearly states it is “available to all registered cards.”

This just means all cards that *you* have registered (e..g one person can have multiple different cards registered to their account) not all BOI customers. The offers will be different for different people unfortunately :(

That's great thanks. I wanted the fitbit but with the €5 delivery I was going to go with amazon.

Matched to my shopping preferences my backside, my fecking offers list looks like something for a 45 year old mother of 3.

Good news. Got my cashback. CC company never emailed/texted though.
I just checked my aib rewards online account for the crack and the currys offer was listed.

Many thanks again to the OP. ;)

Changed my Mind about what Tv I wanted and had to cancel my order and ordered a different one.

Will the cash back be taken back once the refund goes through?

I know, couldnt agree with you more, but we're not the ones that make the T&C, otherwise this would be possible ;)

It specifically says online only. When you reserve online you pay instore, so don't believe it qualifies.

I was looking at a TV that wasn't available online last week, but is now available for delivery.
I would just keep checking and it may change to delivery available
