    Hi all,
    My nephew has asked my Mother (his Granny) for Battlefront II on XBox One for his birthday which is in a few weeks.

    I remember the controversy surrounding it and can anyone tell me what the story is now with it ?

    Is it still full of Micro-transactions and loot boxes, or can he play it as single player and on Live with his friends without having to pay anything (which he won't be able to do as he's only 11) ?

    I put a lot of hours into that game even with the controversy and didnt spend any extra money on the game.
