    Hi,

I was schedule to get my eir service installed on Friday the 26th October. I took the day off work and waited for the entire day before ringing eir to check on the status of the installation. I rang eir and after being on hold for 25min I was told to ring a different number which turned out to be the installer (a different company supposedly). The installer told me that my installation had been cancelled and I was to ring eir back. I rang eir back but was on hold for 42 mins before I gave up.

I did not cancel this order, nor was I informed that it was cancelled.

Since this issue occurred I have tried to ring eir again to no avail. I have also attempted to contact eir through facebook and was told that my case was "emailed to the relevant team" but I have yet to hear back from them. I have also logged a complaint and have not yet heard back from that department either (it has been over 72hrs).

This experience has already cost me a days annual leave and a lot of time trying to resolve it. Can you please rectify this matter asap or I will have to look to another provider.

I have attempted to sign up twice now (the second time after I was informed the first one had been cancelled). The account numbers are: 37254189 and 38367389.

All I want is a new installation date and to start availing of the service. I first registered 3 weeks ago and the whole process has been a complete mess and I feel that I have received zero customer service. I have tried to resolve this issue over the phone, email, facebook and through online chat but I feel that my options have been exhausted. If this issue is not resolved (or at least a plan is put in place for the very near future) before the week I will look to a different provider next week.
