Is it a D.N.F. if you finish over the 5 hours ???? Are you pulled off the course ???

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,963 ✭✭✭opus

If you're on the finishing straight when the clock ticks over 5 hours then you're ok as far as I remember otherwise it's a DNF.

    I'm in as well!

You can finish but my understanding is that your actual finishing time won't appear on the results list.

You'll finish and wonder where everyone is gone.

Just think of tumbleweed to cheer you in

They had an ultra festival there in early June with a 50k as one of the options but without the 5 hour cut off.

You’ll finish and get a result. This year’s results on popupraces include results up to 6 hours+ (as well as all the losers who chickened out after a few laps). ;)

Mind you, that doesn’t guarantee it’ll happen in 2020.

Are the t-shirts usually on the large or small side? I apparently have a body that is either large or medium depending on which side of the bed I get out of.
Race-series always large. Manchester medium. Lap of the Gap medium.

The 2017 and 2019 versions were on the large side.

I entered this morning and came hunting for a thread here. Didn't see that entry was closed (I see that now). My entry and payment went through, but guess that will all be returned to me now.

A shame. Was hoping this would be the arse kicker I need to get running long again.

Road shoes. It's not a trail race.

Headphones are compulsory equipment for this race. Correct?

Thanks - sorry didn't realise. Can numbers go back to organizer? I recall there as massive demand for places.
