It tells you all you need to know about law enforcement in this country that fist fights like this happen outside a Garda station and for so long.

Seen it on loads of videos. The guards are nowhere to be seen.

If that was somewhere in England there would be at least 5 officers (including probably an armed officer or two) on top of that quick fast.

We don't do law enforcement or justice in this country and they all know it.

Agree, but it seems a disproportionate amount of these public fights (among other illegal / unsavory behaviors) appear to involve travelers - this is the issue.

Hillside was a filthy rat infested halting site before it was developed. Horses starving across the road in Castlepark.

When construction was going on the boyos is were robbing equipment from the site until a deal was done with a family to provide security and mysteriously all theft stopped. Funny that!

The housing built was top notch with a large bay for a caravan.

15 years later the area has been transformed but the people have not, sigh. Scum in hovels are still scum if you give them a lovely house

What has Pavee Point or self appointed spokesman John Connors got to say about this? Actually, John Connors had a go at AGS not so long back.

The fact they deliberatly chose to fight outside a Garda station represents a total disrespect for the Law and therefore the state as a whole.

But we all know that is the way with most travellers anyway who show total contempt towards rules, regulations, taxpayers who give them so much and Ireland as a whole. An embarressment.

We have got to get serious and tough with the community because instances like this, sulky racing on main routes, tax evasion on huge wealth etc should not be let slide.

Between this and a growing welfare dependent class we are heading down a precarious path.

Some PC mod will probably card me for speaking the truth.

The poor fckin kids I feel sorry for,zero chance of a normal existence when their parents and families have so much disregard for their kids futures from birth,they don't want them educated because then they would be expected to work..or worse may even want to work and break the cycle.. female travellers are just as complicit as the males in this.

We have all have had those days where we've caught eyes with someone in public and just had an impromptu boxing match on a very busy public road.
