Module Exemption

I'm mid way through the first semester of a 1 year springboard supported post grad in a technical subject.

Having experience in some of the modules (in academia and my career) I applied for a couple of module exemptions. I was granted 1 and rejected in the other.

The college have told me that I can't be awarded ANY exemptions and that the first module being granted was in error. The reason for this is that exemptions can't be granted for an award year.

I can't sit for 3.5-4 hours every Thursday for the next few weeks listening to things I already know. As it's a springboard initiative, if I walk away I can't ever do a springboard course again. I'm wondering if anyone has had similar circumstances. Specifically exemptions in a postgrad. I'm hoping to find a denvercoder9 out there somewhere who has the answer.
