    Hi ,

So I want to start powerlifting, after doing the marathon on Sunday I want to go a different direction sports wise all together , my body feels like it's going to fall apart ! Every time i start weight training my lower back flares up and aches for days (it's purely muscular I have had it looked at). What's the best way to start? I work shifts so hard to nail down a class . Any info is much appreciated.

    Cheers

Best way to start would be to see a reputable personal trainer to get you started. You probably need your mobility assessed and checked for obvious strength imbalances so you can get moving properly.

Yes as Dole Scrounging Vegan Crossfitter probably find a good PT if you want to compete find a good club. Definitely get your mobility looked at and sorted out you dont need much to powerlift but to deal with any issues you have will definitely help you in the long term.
