Hello, I bumped in Andy Murray today, I said "Hey Andy, what time can we expect the RTE Presidential Election Exit Poll to be announced on the LLS, Andy replied "Ten-ish"

Allen Leech, the Irish lad who was Branson in Downton Abbey, he's also Freddie Mercury's Manager in the new Bohemian Rhapsody fillum. So he's in to plug that.

He didn't like the way the Carter Brothers are trying to usurp him as most frequent guest for no good reason, so Des Bishop is back. Again.

Catherine Corless, the historian who uncovered details of a mass grave at the former Mother and Babies Home in Tuam, will give her thoughts on the Government’s decision this week to initiate a forensic excavation at the site. She's doing good work.

Davy Fitzgerald, the Hurling Coach who's on Ireland's got Fit Families is on. He has health issues, he works for RTE and he has a book out so it's not a shock to see him in.

Sean Cox's Wife Martina Cox talks about his ordeal and life since Sean was attacked outside the Liverpool v Roma game in April.

Music from Gavin James and Bell XI

Here's a bit of clock changing trivia lifted directly from BeebRock this week:

"the man who pioneered the idea of changing the clocks twice a year was a Mr William Willet, who first proposed it in 1907

Willam Willet's Great Great Grandson happens to be Chris Martin of Coldplay, who had a single and album called Clocks."

Sure we might never change the clocks again so I had to get that out there.

Sounds like the turnout in the Election might be less than the time Baldrick stood in Dunny on The Wold, so your vote might make all the difference!

John Fogarty is in Dublin tonight, I haven't heard too many complimentary things about him as a person, but he has written some great music so there's that at the very least.

And another thing, don't forget to tape Bowie at Glastonbury 2000 on BBC4 at 10.55pm, which includes exclusive never broadcast coverage from that set.

Should be good, I don't know if anyone was there in person that night who might want to gloat about it? :)

Already assumed the ‘lean-back in chair’ position

If Ryan interviewed David Byrne, the first two questions would be:-

Your parents are dead, how did that make you feel?

Talking Heads split, how did that make you feel?

Genuine question...how come Dana didn’t put her name in the ring for the president jobby again?

Always a good time to remember Terry Prone and her PR spin for the Bon Secours Nuns in trying their best to cover up the Tuam babies scandal.

    Oh, please.

Ha, I was going to joke about having three Eurovision legends on the ballot, then I remembered Dana gave it a shot last time round. Did she run twice?

How is it possible that there isn't a single worthwhile person in the country to run against MDH?

You can tell by how utterly sheite it is that not a single member of RTE staff actually use it.

Between €6 and €13 million so lets say €25 million.

Probably nobody working on it either. The cheek of the priks to ask for an increase in the license when they cant even get that right.

I'm going to say Casey within 15% of Higgins.

In fairness will be impressive if Casey pulled 25 % off in a week.

Will take joy out of the other dragons being useless - what a bizarre line up for the president. A guy who rents out " workspaces" - what a load of ****.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 564 ✭✭✭Checkmate19

I'd say it was a low turnout. Very quite where i voted.

You've just got to like what you like, says the man in the Coke ad.

So, there was no need for your poxy stupid rambling b*ll**** ad then?

Did you think no one would notice that you are pretending that personal taste matters while actively trying to convince people the way to prove this is by buying your sugar water b*llocks?

    C*nts. Yeah, I mean that.
