Xiaomi Mi A1 GPS problem

    Hey guys,

Have my Xiaomi Mi A1 about a year now, and in general really love it. However over the past month or two I've been having a bit of a pain with the GPS. With both google maps and waze the gps signal will drop out for about 30 seconds or so, come back for a while, and then repeat again. Have any others had this issue? I've done a gps test and it did fail. Is there anything I can do myself?

If it continues I'm considering buying the Mi A2 or Pocofone, but seeing as these are both Xiaomi I'm just hoping these same GPS troubles aren't inherent with them as well.

    Any advice greatly appreciated!
