    Hi Folks

I've searched far and wide on the internet, using the model and even the chassis number, but I can't get the exact colour code for my 2006 Mazda 6 hatchback. It's the metallic silver/gray colour (not sure which they call it). A friend says he can touch up the scrapes and scratches on it, but needs the exact paint code. Any ideas how or where to find it? Surely it must be somewhere?

    Picture below.

    Many thanks.

The paint code will be on the sticker for the tyre pressure or else on the VIN plate in the engine bay.

Look for a sticker like this under the bonnet. You either want body color code, or PNT Code. Generally its 2 numbers and a letter with Mazda, can be different though.

Google images of mazda 6 paint code locations if you cant see a sticker like that. there is different style stickers or plates riveted into the front of the engine bay

if you contact any mazda dealer with your reg number or chassis number they can supply the colour code

Thanks all. I had checked the plates on the car (tyre pressure plate and chassis plate under the bonnet) and I'm afraid it isn't there. I'll try talking to a dealer, I just always assumed they wouldn't help as I wasn't asking them to do the work.

    Cheers
