Some fun matchups there this week. Personally think the Bengals have a shot against the Chiefs even though everyone is expecting a blowout. Keep an eye on that one.

Panthers Eagles should be a good one with both teams needing to get wins and neither looking 100% so far this season.

Ravens Saints could be a classic, that NO offence against the Baltimore Defence sould make for some very exciting football.

Surprise pick for Texans to beat the Jags, jags have been poor last two weeks and maybe Houston can upset them in Division.

Yep, the Chiefs are going to have to outscore everyone this season, their D is absolutely porous. That potent Offense will not be enough to overcome a game with a special teams TD or turnovers. I wouldn't be surprised if teams start trying the odd onside kick to try and rob a possesion from them. The Bengals look solid this year - so far.

This week of the season is also important for teams @ 2-4 or worse - If they want any chance of making the playoffs and is essentially a must win situation.

Titans v Chargers has the potential to be interesting. Chargers have impressed me this year, only losses were to the Rams and Chiefs and the Titans have some good wins on their resume (some bad loses too of course!)

Seems like teams are using WRs to throw on these trick plays more and more. Surely defenses will start to become more wary of it.

Going to be a long night for Rosen. If he doesn't get the ball out quickly he's going to be in the dirt and he's risking INTs on his throws. Don't know why they aren't using Johnson more.

Id imagine it's a pass option. If he isn't free just run like ****. If you have a shot throw it

Johnson is being wasted, he's their best offensive player and they don't get him involved in the passing game at all. The Cardinals made a mess of this year in the previous years, no post Palmer/Arians plan at all.

Arians - not sure they knew he was retiring
Palmer - with his injuries and age, they should have drafted someone a couple a years ago and gradually brought him along, instead Stanton was kept around. No excuses there when they end up giving Bradford a sizable contract.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,004 ✭✭✭✭Realt Dearg Sec

Rosen limping off now, why on Earth was he still in this massacre anyway? Bradford is getting enough money sitting around scratching his kenackers, why not let him go in and take some of this beating?

He hasn't been an active roster member since Rosen was made starter. It saves the Cardinals on having to pay him bonus money.

Still though I agree that Rosen should hve been pulled. Let them put their 3rd string QB in there to take hits. There was no protection all night,.

Just watched the highlights there. Absolutely disgraceful to have Rosen in there taking that punishment in a game long over.

Yep, game was over as a contest after 15 minutes. By the end of the game the Denver pass rush was teeing off on Rosen. Ridiculous to have the future of your franchise standing back there in the latter stages of a complete blowout game.

The Broncos have been bad this year, but my god the Cardinals are at another level of rubbishness.

I saw the score at 6am this morning but didn't obviously watch the highlights. Was it a case of the broncos being that good all around or did josh Rosen hit a rookie wall ?

I didn't watch the game last night live as I said but watching it back this evening and there is a very telling moment when the cardinals call a time out early and the WR Kirk(who's on my fantasy team) comes over to the sideline and clearly has no idea what he's meant to be doing on the play. The HC has a look on his face like "which part was ****ing confusing ?" and another coach(not former OC McCoy) tells him what to do, and seems to be baffled that he had to explain something in week 7.

My point is even if I didn't know the score it was clear early on the cardinals offence hadn't a hope and that's on the OC ultimately and Mike McCoy is the person who lost his job.

I was watching GMFB weekend earlier and they were taking about how the teams were coping with the time difference and that, and apparently Philip rivers didn't change the time when he got to London so the game will be kicking off at 6:30am I think LA time so he'll be playing at that time or at least his body clock will be. I mean if it works it works but it sounds strange to me or at least potentially counter productive.
