    I only called them the once, my remote was lost and the wife was coming down the stairs so, I rang and told them to put their clothes on and pretend they’re reading the news.

    Not a huge fan of fake norks, so I’m not the target demographic. Something rather uncouth about trying to pull the mickey off yourself on the couch while watching a bird take phone calls off other sad sacks sitting on a couch interfering with themselves.

    I’ve called up once or twice before it was grand. Phone rate prices too high so stopped calling them in the last year or so. Still watch it a fair bit though

    I watched such channels in the early days of SKY. You get the odd decent adult themed films, such as Fritz the Cat.

    Pity it was German though... :(

    You've conjured up a disturbing mental image right there. Yer man Anto sat on the couch at 1am, boxers round his ankles, phone in one hand, mickey in the other, praying that his ma doesn't come down to make a brew after waking up needing to go to the toilet for a pee.
