    I’ll get the ball rolling...

DAB radio - minimal range, terrible sound quality,

MG’s with plastic bumpers - doesn’t really need an explanation,

Paying Denis O’Brien’s Siteserve* company the guts of €1,000,000,000 to install water meters that are effectively not being used. Meanwhile about 50% of the water we treat is lost through leaks in the system so when it doesn’t rain for 2 weeks we get a 2 month hosepipe ban.

A company that was in debt to the tune of a few hundred million, which was written off when O’Brien bought the company for cents on the euro.

Denis has a quare good knack of being in the right place at the right time, it would appear that he is the front runner to be awarded the national broadband plan too (the luck on this guy).

Here's what confuses me though, Naughten had to resign for having informal meetings with David McCourt.

Leo had informal meetings with O'Brien, and Leo brushed it under the carpet.

He's not known as uncle Dinny for nothing.

That sealed plastic packaging that everything seems to come in now.

You have to take a scissors to open it, which leaves razor sharp pieces of plastic to shred your hands everywhere! Completely and utterly stupid.

I'm going to rant this again : a resealable wrapper for a 53g Dairy Milk.

Unless you're disabled there is no way anyone should be using one of these.

+1, at least for updates: a recent update made my laptop useless (no access to desktop); only option was to reinstall windows.

Rap music has a very interesting history :)

Some of modern day evolutions of 'rap' music are stoopid though.

    Automatic handbrakes in cars.
My experience with them was horrendous.
I traded in my car last month for another make that has a real handbrake, and it also has a CD player. :)

Windows 10 is greatest Windows OS ever. Windows 8.1 was also really good however the original 8.0 was a disaster (way worse than Vista IMO).

We must all have wiped our memories of Windows Vista, the greatest steaming pile ever.

I bought a HP laptop/tablet type thing in about 2007 that had Vista on it.

This particular laptop (TX 1000) had an underlying issue that when it was over worked, the screen would die (it got hot and the cooling module would separate and shut down the screen due to over heating).

The trouble was, simply running vista was enough to overheat the thing and kill it!! Used to run for about 3/4 minutes and then pack up!!

    Steaming (literally) pile of Sh1te!!

Ill only buy a mobile if it has fm radio.
Spoke to someone in the know before and was told all phones have fm capability but its not activated because there,s money in apps for radios, not sure if its true but it makes sense.

A banana slicer. Piece of plastic shaped like a banana so you don't use a knife for all of two seconds to slice a very slice able piece of fruit.
