I think she was with Newstalk before she went to RTE.I never heard of her until she started filling in for Ronan.

you only hear Michael Buble at Christmas (Unless you listen to Sunshine 106), similarly you only hear Mundy in July.

Ronan's show is a perfect example of "if it ain't broke don't fix it", he is irreplaceable really and we will all miss him when he eventually retires.

Far too many requests (and "roundy birthdays") for me these days - although I still listen - I assume that that's to keep the listenership figures up!

It's a pathetic show. "Roundy" birthday requests, granny getting a birthday request for her grandchild in Melbourne who's a year old today, playing song after song from artists just because it's the 40th anniversary of their death or they would have been 84 today. As for the "a request now for father David" or "Sister Mary has her birthday today" - it sounds like they're for Priests and Nuns rather than requests from relatives. He makes mistakes constantly. Hels certainly replaceable. I've started avoiding the show but want to catch the one o'clock news after him.
