Just a couple of queries about this supplement. 1. Does it give you more energy. To clarify , I'm not spring chicken and done want to build a lot of muscle mass. I would just like to be more active. Recover better after bike rides or gym. 2. Is it hard on the kidneys? Hear different accounts . Any help appreciated!

It basically fuels high intensity muscle activity, ie lifting weights. It won't turn you into the incredible hulk on its own and not without a lot of effort.

If it's for better recovery from bike rides and gym, then what you need is a decent balanced diet.

Maybe supplement with whey protein, if you're not getting enough through the rest of your diet. A whey shake made with milk is a pretty good mix of protein and carbs for post ride - imo a better mix than the cliche "chocolate milk after a ride" advice that does the rounds.

There's very limited studies for endurance athletes that Creatine may be beneficial, but way too early and too few studies that I'd be spending money on it tbh.
