I have about 6 litres of 10w40 bought to top up a previous bangernomics shed that I got rid of earlier this year.

It has been replaced with another bangernomics car, this one a Renault Grand Scenic 1.5 diesel (non DPF version) with about 110k kms on it. The recommended oil for this is 5w30.

Thoughts on using my 10w40 to top it up?
