What tv game/quiz shows would you like to see back on tv?

For me its the Krypton factor. Loved the obstacle course and puzzles sections. Going for gold and blockbusters.

It's a Family Affair with Dara O Briain. Beware of the shredder.

Would gladly allow Going for Gold to die.

Sale of the Century was one I liked, but then I was about 8 or 9 years old.
    Oh, and It's a Knockout.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    Murphy's Micro Quiz-M.

It would probably be Fortnite with general knowledge these days. :)

The adventure game. BBC show from the early 80s, with a talking house plant.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

    Blackboard Jungle. :p
But in seriousness Clarksons stint on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire deserves a new series.
Maybe even revive the Irish one with Brendan O Connor as quizmaster.

    This too shall pass.

Second vote for Knightmare. Aa a 12/13 year old I loved that game show. It was very cool for the late 1980s.

I’d also resurrect The Krypton Factor. A real test of knowledge and skill and I loved the assault course part at the end!

Oh and Mastermind. I would love to be on that show.:)

I was thinking of mentioning that. I remember them playing centipede on it.

    The original crystal maze.

Yes, Knightmare it was really ahead of its time. Cluedo with Chris Tarrant. Generation Game and Price is Right.
We didn't watch gameshows on RTE growing up apart from Blackboard Jungle or the university one with Kevin Myers, was it Challenging Times.

I vote for Bullseye again, but I don't think it would ever be the same without Jim Bowen, especially when he keeps telling contestants to "listen to Tony". What's Tony going to say except hit the f*cking board with the darts? :pac:
I still watch it on Challenge at 11 o clock most nights. It's my winding down show!

Or taking the cash out of his pocket to count out for the losers during the break.

Mastermind is still on, the regular version and sometimes a celebrity version. John Humphrys (the former BBC newsreader) has been the host for about 15 years.

Yeah, the modern 'Bullseye' with Dave Spikey was just horrendous. No point trying to resurrect classic gameshows as it just doesn't work.

I refuse to watch the modern 15 to 1 for the same reason. :D

The Celebrity one is to be avoided. Z list celebrities who don't take the show seriously. They usually get around 12 points in total, and start chuckling as they get more and more wrong

+ Bullseye. It even helped catch a murderer and no, it's never who you thought it would be!

++ Takeshi's Castle. Some episodes of that would render you useless from laughing.
It's back with Jonathon Ross but there's no way in hell I'll watch it with him there.
