I was going to upgrade Steve cook to him if Mendy was fit

I outlined my rationale yesterday which basically was he was a spurs midfielder who was cheaper and more nailed on than the rest with clean sheet potential thrown in for good measure

Got Smalling in for Mendy last week after his goal and Utd clean sheets with Wolves and Newcastle coming up at home.
Trippier was the alternative but with 2 away games and Barca coming up I thought Smalling was the right option. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
