Clack Water softener error 101

Hi guys, We have a clack ws1 water softener and last week or so it has come up with error 101. Ive looked up the manual and it says a few things along the lines of unable to start regeneration. Check for debris, check motor. Ive taken it apart and put it back together. Ive checked the motor with a 12v battery and it runs…

Hi guys,
We have a clack ws1 water softener and last week or so it has come up with error 101. Ive looked up the manual and it says a few things along the lines of unable to start regeneration. Check for debris, check motor.
Ive taken it apart and put it back together. Ive checked the motor with a 12v battery and it runs fine. Anyone any ideas ? I was onto the company that fitted it and they want €120 to come out with no guarantee of fixing it.
