AND YOU STILL, STIILLLLLLLLLLL, haven't bothered your holes to fix the massive, MASSIVE bug that when reading a thread you haven't opened in a while it forgets where you were and goes back to page one. Having to bookmark a page on a website so you can carry on from where you were in 2018.

You haven't listened to this in about 10 years.

I assume this is Legacy if you are having this issue for so long. If you haven't visited the thread in (I think) 2 weeks it'll take you back to the start of the thread. How do you access the threads? From forum view, followed threads, control panel? Do you click on the 'Go to next unread post' button or on the thread title?

It's not a problem with the legacy site, it's a problem that started in the Talk-To forums, and subsequently carried over to the responsive site. My report from 5 years ago: https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057004389. Also reported in the Responsive Site Testing forum which was deleted along with all the other unfixed bugs

It's all of them except https://m.boards.ie/ I'm told (I haven't really used mobile always meaning to)
For the first time in months (yup, months) I clicked into - https://touch.boards.ie/thread/2057693236/1/#post102271643 on legacy the other night using read next unread button and page 1 opened. Infuriating.

Touch, which I am using and as you mentioned in your link is always at it.

Hi Kuva,

There is a time limit in place, as Niamh mentioned, so not opening a thread for months will result in your place being "forgotten." While it may be possible for us to experiment with this limit, we would have to test what impact incremental increases would have. However, because of other dev work in the pipeline, I can't give you a definitive answer as to when this might happen.
