My expectations are low & Ray, to be fair to him, never fails to meet them.

You see this woman wandering into Micheal D's gaf?

You just know Brendan would have had a cracker in his intro about that.

Can we get a Take Back Saturday Night Talk Show movement going?

Why do they bother anymore, just put on a repeat of Naked Gun or Airplane, far more entertaining then this

Suicide squad on RTE2, not great but not bad either, and Margot Robbie is in it, which makes it slightly better then watching Ray

Holy moley can you imagine winning that sort of money, two whole grand, jaysus. And off to such an exotic faraway holiday locations as Iceland right as we're hitting the cold season...

Half watching this show and reading people eviserate it is one of my guiltiest of pleasures.

And to think I used to go out and get fcked up on a Saturday night.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was asked by either this show or the LLS, but he doesn't seem to want the attention or spotlight. He's some man though.

Camogie final was on first, so by rights the Cork crew should have been interviewed first, but hey, it's Dublin, so it's local, so it counts.

Lazy excuse for a filler now with RTE... get a succesful team on, soft interviews...kills 20 minutes... job done. A success for LLS and Ray D'Arcy.

Always watch the ladies football and camogie finals but was disappointed with the camogie this year (other than the result). Standard v high and with the physicality in mens football these days I prefer the ladies.

Proper old school, don't make them like that anymore, my favourite part was him giving one of them a good kick up the hole as they went out the door.

There’s an Iceland just down RTÉ road from me. I don’t where I’d put €2k worth of frozen food though.

Is there a bar at the ploughing championships?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,869 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

    Who's this one?

Did she invent the ploughing championship or something?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,761 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

I say she is very tough. She was really fuming when TD Pat Deering announced the ploughing would be in Carlow next year before it was officially announced.

Cork v Dublin ladies final was one of the best gaelic football games i've seen in years. Easily the best this year. Skill levels have gone sky high in the last 20 years.

She had to be to head a male dominated organisation 50 years ago. Disliked by a lot of men in parts of Laois.. who basically wanted her job!

How can they possibly get this much talk out of cancelling the fcking ploughing championship?
