Judgment is in Argos for 50 euro. The 2 closest ones to me don't have it in stock but you can order for the weekend ffs!

I checked Gamestop website and its not available anywhere in Ireland, hope that's just a slow map update though. Anyone getting a physical copy today?

Not going near this till I finish Yakuza 6!

Cruises Street is showing 1 available to collect today man ;)

Cruises st is a pain in the hole to get to for me. The Gamestop deliveries seemed to be late, most shops have copies now and i was able to trade a game to make up the price between them and Argos.

Gonna put everything on the back burner now to play this.

Edit: if you are asking someone in a shop for this, spell the name for them Judgment. They had been looking for Judgement and said no sign of it.

Amazon still haven't shipped mine. I ordered it with a book, both are meant to be out today but the book doesn't shipping for a month so I cancelled that

Only on chapter 1 but really liking it so far. Kamurocho is looking lovely, you only have to tap x once to sprint (no more holding it down) and you don't seem to get tired.

Tailing sucks bit I've seen abilities you can unlock to make that easier/faster. Actually i can already see a ton of abilities that i want to unlock, gonna be hard to decide how to level up.

Biggest gripe so far is the minimap. It's static and you can't seem to be able to change it to rotation like the Yakuza games. Very strange that they'd leave that option now.

I loved Yakuza 0, so I got Kiwumi and found it very samey and boring after doing 50 hours of 0.

I assume this is more of the same and as such the same thing will happen?

Patch 1.05 released today. Fixes a crash people were getting if they played certain mini games before the game fully installed. Also added a detective package of items like the Yakuza games did with every patch. Always liked that, nice touch.

Cina, I played Kiwami 1 after 0 as well and felt the same. Good game but I definitely felt the burn. I ended up just blowing through the main missions, no side stuff and quite enjoyed it. I then played Yakuza 6 which I loved, different, more relaxing pace and location compared to 0 and 1. Played Kiwami 2 after that and again felt the burn but it was definitely a better game than 1.

As for this, I haven't unlocked any side stuff yet but it's familiar yet fresh. The world, controls, combat, all feel right at home but it's nice not being a gruff Yakuza for a change and the detective side (looking for clues at a crime scene, asking the right questions, etc) is really interesting. No idea if I'm gonna feel any burn as it's too early for me but definitely like what I've seen so far.

Despite being a huge SEGA fan my whole life, I've never even heard of Motor Raid, one of the arcade games, really cool to play a SEGA game from that ERA that's new to me and I'd really love to see more obscure arcade ports as minigames in the series. Give me SCUD RACE!

I'm near the end of chapter 2 i think but finding it hard to focus on it. I....I don't think I'm enjoying it and i don't know why. Finished a long tailing mission, put on a different game, put back on judgment anther night and it/I had never saved. I couldn't go through the tailing mission again so turned it off. Think I'll need to push through the early chapter missions maybe.

The tailing missions seem to have been a point of criticism in nearly every review I read of it. Had planned to pick this up for a week off I have but something was just not ticking with me in what I saw of it - ended up getting Odyssey, FC New Dawn and Stellaris instead for the same price. Shame this doesn’t sound too exciting, will play it at some stage but probably not until a price drop later in year.

The tailing missions are very tedious, luckily enough they don't come up too much during the game. Im about 50% through and while im enjoying the game the story isnt as compelling as some of the Yakuza games. The side missions and friend missions are fun though.

Finished this a few days ago and enjoyed it. Overall I'd give it an 8/10 with the main story being a 9 and the side cases being a 7.

The side cases have a few good ones with similar humor to the other yakuza games but are way, way too reliant on boring tailing missions and generic accept case > go to location > watch cut scene > report case to pad out their length.

The frequency of the tailing segments is also just bizarre. There was one sidecase where I just needed to talk to a guy but for some reason Yagami decides to tail him until he's alone. He walks to the end of the street to an empty car park but that doesn't count so it continues until he reaches an alley on the other side of the map

The main story starts off slow but by chapter 4 it picks up and only gets better. It doesn't suffer as much from the tailing missions apart from one near the end that is insanely long because the character just walks in circles for ten minutes.

The game does a good job of developing the side characters though. In the other games I usually only care about Kiryu and Majima but here everyone important.

I'd prefer a traditional yakuza game but would definitely play a sequel. Also the game has a distinct lack of karaoke :pac:

This is on sale at the moment, 38 on the store, worth it at that price?

I ended up trading it to GS (42 credit). I just couldn't get into it at all. Not sure if it was too familiar, tailing missions, boring main character or if i just missed hearing someone scream KIRRRYYYUUUUUUU

I might pick it up again down the line as i don't think i gave it a proper chance bit i wasn't enjoying it :(
