    So as we are fast approaching "On-Season" it's time to start ramping up the interactions and fun here at the Christmas Forum.

    So I've a few exciting ideas that I hope ye will like. In lieu of Know Your Elves that used to run Monday-Sunday we will now have new threads replacing it.

    Starting with;

    The Great Debate Series

    Starting soon we will have a weekly debate on the most divided of the Christmas Topics. There'll be a poll where you pick your answer but we also want you to post and explain why you picked that. It's all in the name of fun :)

    The debates so far we have coming up are;

    Best Tub of Sweets;
    Tree - Real or Fake;
    Lights - Plain or Colours;
    Die Hard - A Christmas Movie - Yippki-YAY or Yippki-NAY?
    Santa Presents - Wrapped or UnWrapped
    Opening Presents - Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

    After the great debate series ends we will move on to Boards Favourite Christmas Movie, Song and TV Special.

    The first week we will ask for people to nominate 3 of their favourite Christmas Movies, the ones with the most nomiations move forward to the poll vote the following week and from there we will crown Boards favourite Christmas movie.

    So as always we need your feedback, ideas and suggestions! Is there any other debates you want settled? A different format to any of the above that works better?

    Christmas Mass - Yes or No
    Christmas Mass - Christmas Eve midnight Mass or Christmas morning
    TV or games after Christmas dinner

    Edit: these are probably not the dividing issues of our times in fairness! I'll have to think harder.

    There's more debates than I originally thought!

    So we will be kicking off this Monday with the first one and one of the more divisive ones!
