Car insurance for carers

Does anyone know anything about care insurance for carers to drive their care recipients? How much extra does it cost? and does it make a difference id the carer is paid by social welfare carers allowance or care company or even is a volunteer? thanks in advance

Hi,
If using the recipients car then you should become a named driver on their insurance policy. If using your own car then check with your own insurance company as it may alter the insurance terms and conditions.
