Info needed on Irish defence forces

    hi all,

    I am debating whether or not to join the defence forces. I know they are not recruiting currently but I'd like to join as it's something I'd like to do.

    Can someone who is currently in the defence forces give me a run down of what you do on a day to day basis, how do you advance in your career and what life was like overseas if you have ever gone abroad.

    All answers appreciated.
