Grainne looks improbably young for a woman in her mid forties. I reckon she has had "help" along the way.

Don't get me wrong, she looks fantastic. Not sure how 'natural' it is though.

Wonder do they give the audience a few scoopeens before hand to oil them up for the night?

I see they are repeating this directly before the match tomorrow, the mind boggles.

What's the story with that set? Seems very mean, can't work out if it's the awful seats or background?

Feels completely surreal having the final on this week, it's like moving Christmas to January, it's totally out of kilter.

Ah that’s not fair, Limerick got 3 tickets and Galway only got 1.

Who did I complain to ?

    Shocking stuff altogether

This show is fine when they're talking to old players and that, the fan stuff really makes me wince though.

Like putting the World Cup in Winter, which of course is highly improbable.

The winning team should each get a voucher for a €40k car.

People talking about Darragh Maloney being robotic on the Soccer panel have obviously never heard his Hurling commentary.

By far the best GAA commentator RTÉ have. Pity he doesn't get to do more.

Anytime I hear Pauric Lodge on Radio 1, he's always excellent, I think he mainly concentrates on Football though.

Needs to drop the folksy intro to his commentaries.

Pauric is one of the leading RTE GAA commentators imo. He is often paired with John Mullane and appears to totally get his enthusiasm-Mullane can be completely OTT and to be fair to Pauric he goes with the flow with Mullane. I heard him commentating on camogie semi final this evening-you get the impression that he does his homework. Not a Marty fan

YES! YES! YES! Marty is usually paired with Tomas M and his LONG introduction is often greeted by a chuckle from Tomas

He's a donkey of a commentator. Agree about belonging on the radio though, after all he has a face for it.

Cant understand how it pays Grainne to fly over from South Africa for the last and only gig she has with RTE up for the Match?
