1st Day of Orientation is the day after Electric Picnic

How does the Orientation week work? Do you need to be there on the 1st day or can you turn up any day?
Hundreds of people will be only getting out of the tent at noon at Electric Picnic.....

I’m also wondering this. I’ll be heading home early on sunday night cause I live close by but I know a lot of people who’ll just have to miss the first day of orientation it seems.

Once you get your offer and you register with Trinity you'll get your orientation timetable. Orientation isn't like 9-5 blocks every day, you'll have different bits on during the week. You might have nothing on Monday or you might have some stuff. Ideally, if you have stuff on try not to miss them because you do find out important bits at the beginning and you make a lot of friends in the first week. That said, like I know the Provost does a welcome with half the students on the first day and the other half on the second day but tbh you can kinda miss that cause it's quite ceremonial and not too major. Just wait until you get your timetable and you can see then.
