same as last year, don't mind if either team win. limerick obviously but this galway team deserves more than 1.

anyone but the big 3 really

Would have no feelings good or bad to either team. Was glad to see Galway win one after such a long time last year, so on that basis will probably be rooting for Limerick.

Should be great game, but have feeling that Galway will have too much for them. Not fired yet.

The great John Keane is reputed to have said “If I couldn’t live in Waterford, then Limerick is where I would choose”.
    On that basis Luimneach abú!

Limerick all the way!! It's been too long a wait!! Roll on Sunday. Fully expect to go behind by 6 to8 points but once we not too far well catch them, it's when we seem to play at our best!

Going 6/8 pts behind and clawing it back to win/draw is a pattern that isn’t guaranteed to work every day.....surely the limerick management are working on this aspect of their game....? I doubt if it’s part of their game plan to go out in first half and be content enough being 6/7 pts down with ten mins to go as it was in the cork game..?

He didn't get around much auld John :D

Limerick for me and what's more I think they will win it. And it will not be the last of this team by a longshot either way.

Hoping Galway win as Galway hurling has always been my pain and love!
For the second year in a row, we’re meeting a team that we would love to see winning an all Ireland. I was on the hill in 94, so I know some of the pain Limerick have felt.
I will be delighted when Liam is Shannonside, and it will happen with this team, but let us have this one first!

Limerick for me as their fans were sporting in defeat after WX won in '96.

We stayed out for the the session in Dublin that evening whilst most Wexford fans went back home, the Limerick supporters were up for the craic, beer & songs despite their disappointment. Especially in Bad Bobs & other boozers. :D

Hope they win Liam, they've waited long enough!

Who said anything abt 10 mins to go? I just think Galway will come out and storm into a big lead like they have done and limk will take awhile you get into the game but when they do I just hope they are close enough! What team prefers to go that far behind.. honestly!!? if limk go toe to toe in points all the way it's gonna be limk to power home watch this space!!

Limerick of course and as I am going to the match I hope to witness history in the making of a Limerick win.

Do not underestimate this Limerick side and saying that they have an All Ireland in them but just not this year...blah blah blah.

Limerick have an All Ireland in them this year and why not? They have already beaten Galway in the League earlier this year in Salthill....so Limerick are fearless, level headed and most of all ready.

As a neutral, It be nice for Limerick if they can end a 45 year famine. It be nice for Galway also to add to last year. Hope its a good game of hurling and may the best team on the day win. Hope no player or referee makes a bad mistake on the day that would cost their team the All Ireland. I would hate to see that especially for the effort the players on both teams have put in. Hope the team with the better hurling wins the game is what I'm trying to say basically . Best of luck to both Galway and Limerick teams and supporters. Great day for both counties.

Also, it's hard for me to support Galway in the hurling when I hate their football team.

Let me guess, your from Mayo?

    Jaysus ye are fair salty.

Galway for the cup but if Limerick get the win fair and square there will be no saltiness here from this Galway man.

Limerick. Not just for the people and present team but for all the great Limerick teams that gave us great enjoyment over the years but didnt make the final step.

Through different circumstances I haven’t seen a full Limerick game live this Summer, they seem like a very well drilled skillful side though.
Galway have had to contend with injuries which they avoided on the way to winning Liam Mac Carthy last year.
I think Limericks freshness might just shade it on the day....most of all hoping for a good game today.

As a kerryman I would love to see our neighbours limerick do It, if It was Cork I'd be shouting for Galway though!

    I am.

It's not like most Galway fans would ever cheer for Mayo in anything.

Bit of a difference in not cheering and saying you hate them.

As a Galway person, I am surprised to read this. Myself and many other people I know from Galway would love to see Mayo win an AI!

Most Mayo fans have a fondness of the Galway hurlers. I don't really. Hate is an exaggeration I suppose. But I don't want them to win anything.

I know plenty of Galwegians who cheer against Mayo all the time. And that's fine. I do the same when they play.
