    Hi
I'm researching building options for a self build
Has anyone used SIPS (structured insulating panels) on a self build?

If so can you tell me what you think pros/cons?
How do it compare in price to more traditions methods (block/timber)
Where di you source sips from?

Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated

Looked at it with a fair amount of detail, but decided against. The challenge is a) it did not seem cheaper and b) you need contractors who have experience (architects, builders etc). There are also some minor concerns that if a wall was compromised repair might be difficult (but I guess this is less of a concern..)

Spoke to the .snip.ie and another group in the midlands (sorry cannot find the name, but they are referred to somewhere on boards and seem like a decent group).
